Inspiration: Inspired by the nature surrounding the cottage: the mountains and the lake. The client wanted the luxury home automation design to match the aesthetic of the surroundings as well as allow for nature to play a part of how the cottage was programmed.

Environmental and Lifestyle Impact
Energy Efficiency: The lake is a perfect summer retreat, but the heat and sun can be challenging, especially with gorgeous floor to ceiling windows...things can really heat up quickly. Automatic shades solve this by lowering during peak sunlight hours to keep the space cool, protect furniture, and enhance comfort. They then will rise in the evening to reveal breathtaking sunsets, without the heat! With remote access, you can manage these functions even when away, saving energy and reducing costs. If you forgot to turn off the thermostat or lights, you needn’t worry, you can do it from your phone! This blend of convenience, efficiency, and smart design makes your lake home truly effortless to enjoy.
Lifestyle Enhancement: These systems bring ease to every part of this cottage. Everything can be controlled by voice activation through the Josh Ai system, from the shades, the lights, the temperature, music, TV etc. all of it can be changed from the comfort of your own couch. The Lutron system along with Josh also allows you to create your own “scenes” where you customize the lights, the music, the colors, all so you can just press a button and have them all change seamlessly.
